I’ll be writing a bit more on our family blog and I just wrote a post on raising our little guys in the city. Check it out.

Thanks for your post Rebekah. What a great opportunity! I couldn’t figure out how to leave a comment on the other blog–but I just want to say that you are doing a GREAT job with those boys as their mama. Keep up the great work! We had Jude on Speakerphone the other night and as a family we heard Jude recite the same verse to us. So sweet that boy is!

Thanks such an awesome blog Rebekah. I have had many conversations with the boys regarding homeless people and their signs and how we can help. Children have such a magical-in-God kinda way of seeing the world, seeing people and speaking. When a child speaks- adults tend to listen. Mainly because the adult sees no judgement in them or the child’s thoughts. What Jude said is AMAZING. It made me cry and I’m sure its the clearest message that man had ever heard. You should be so proud of him and what you have nurtured in him.
I also have felt that same feeling of- I should have said something. A scripture or a message of love on earth.
Its funny because as an adult when I fail to speak up I always feel this guilt of missing the moment but God is always quick to remind me that he is love. If I provide a warm meal- its 100% made of Gods love. In other words- my message of God is and always will be LOVE, so I don’t have to have a quick word or scripture I can just love people and God will take care of the rest. If they ask- I will tell them, but if they dont ask I will know that God is at work in the moment- in the love we have shown to strangers. Wherever there is love- HE will be. He washes away the guilt. The best way to teach people about God is to be LOVE on earth. To live it. I admire how you are doing this Rebekah- with all the little Furbs.
It inspires me to do more and to walk the same path with my chillens.
Thanks for sharing such an awesome blog.
